Haldun Dormen

Haldun Dormen is a famous Turkish theatre, movie and TV series actor and film director. Dormen is of Turkish Cypriot descent.

He was born onApril 1928 in Mersin, Turkey. He moved to Istanbul with his family in his early childhood. He finished his secondary education at Galatasaray High School and high school education at Robert College in Istanbul. Then he went to the USA for a university degree and graduated from the theatre department at Yale University. Having finished his education he returned to Turkey and started his theatrical career at Kk Sahne which was directed by Muhsin Erturul.
